I so wish someone with some great AI skills would take all these threads and build a flow chart of Defender Noises...If you hear this noise in this location, then this is what worked for me....It would be gold! Maybe if we just organized the threads that way!! Never mind, it would likely wind up as a diverted thread about the best wheels on the pictured Defender or a problem with a build date slipping.... (Yes, I mock myself - I've done both...)

Is this something that people have had luck with service fixing? For some reason, I could see them thinking it's nothing and then skirting the issue but to an everyday driver these types of noises are quite annoying.

Gummi Pflege did not fix the problem. Just ordered the Shin Etsu silicone grease.

To the main door seal, both sides. And to the smaller window seal, both sides. Gummi phlege has a weird applicator that isn't ideal for this type of application. I could dump it into a different container and use a rag but since the OP mentioned this other lubricant, I am going to try that first.
