Oh wow, the 90 has been completely discontinued in the US other than the V8 trim, which now starts at $114,400 before destination.
What a bloody stupid thing to do. I get it, the 90 was always going to be a low-volume product, so I see from a business sense that they only sell the V8, which has been the most popular model of the 90.

Its still a terrible thing to do.
Damn it! I've got the 110 due to needing the space, but I loved the 90 and wish they brought the commercial version to the US.
Semi related - I walked past this vehicle with my dog earlier in the week. This is a 4 cylinder base model Landcruiser used with 7000 miles and they are asking $70,000! That's more than I paid for my factory ordered new base 110 P300 with a ton of packages on it - e-locker, rack, front underbody plate, ladder, RAI, off-road tires, tow package, extended wheel arches, hood decal, larger screen, cold weather package, clear sight mirror, etc.
I would have guessed that these LandCruiser 250s were $20-30k cheaper than they are. It looks like the Defender 110 is a real bargain at the moment.
Astronomical price for base Landcruiser

Technically the "base" Land Cruiser is the loaded trim level. The Land Cruiser 1958 is the base model with cloth seats, a small screen, 6-speaker stereo etc. The Land Cruiser has the SoftTex heated & ventilated seats, a 10-speaker stereo, upgraded headlights etc. I know - its confusing.
I have been helping my best friend find a new car to replace her POS 2013 Equinox that needs new timing chains and it just isn't worth fixing anymore. I've been trying to help her find a nice used RAV4, CX-5, CR-V etc.
She went to look at a 75k mile 2021 Mazda CX-30 and a 2023 RAV4 XLE Premium with 47k miles and they were asking $31k - only $3k less than it was new. Despite being in good shape and visually well maintained, turns out it was an ex rental car with no service records and it reeked of cigarette smoke. Dealer wouldn't budge on the price and I explained to her that you can get a brand new mid-trim CX-30 for the price of that two year old RAV4. So that's what she ended up doing, and she's taking delivery of her new CX-30 Carbon Edition tomorrow afternoon. Very excited for her - its her first new car she's ever had and she couldn't be more ecstatic. Plus, I'm happy she took my part-time auto journalist advice seriously, and went for my top choice in the subcompact crossover segment. I obviously really like the CX-30, but its more important that she likes it just as much, and she preferred the styling, the interior, and how it drove, compared to the RAV4 despite being smaller than the RAV4 and her Equinox.
When I saw the price on that RAV4 I thought they were asking too much, but I got an Edmunds and KBB estimate and it was a perfectly fair price. I knew the Toyota SUV market has been red hot the past few years, but I thought it would've cooled down by now. Well, it hasn't. 10 year old 4Runner SR5s with 130k miles are still an average of $26k. Highlanders from the same era and mileage aren't much cheaper, and the RAV4/Lexus NX market is just as insane. The hybrids hold even more value.

Sad news but I appreciate they made 2 door version knowing it'll be not popular. I'm glad I was able to buy and enjoy one while they made it. Thanks for sharing.
Wait, first they deleted the 18" steel wheels, and chipped away at other features such as the white roof, then they axed the whole 90!?
Hmm. Where I live (a well-off suburban area), I pass a dozen or two 110's per short trip. But 90's are very rare, as very few local purchasers would consider a stubby 2-door with awful back-seat access. I think it's fair for JLR to recognize the blindingly-obvious, but it's still sad.
So, since no local soccer mom would buy my 90, was the resale value toast from the start!?
Edit: Oh, except for the V8. I like my P300, but a good V8 can't be beat.
