Looks more like a Lucky 8 ad, cleverly disguised as an article... Still, an impressive build and performance on that trail - but my Defender is also my daily driver and most of those mods are way too radical for me. 35" super swampers? 2" permalift? Modified fender flares? Not for me. Some of the other stuff (rock sliders above all else) I am definitely thinking about, because I could live with such mods on a daily basis.

 

Is there anyone who makes a basket rack for the new Defender and not this razor thin flat rack that requires an attachment to keep everything secure? Be nice to have the option to toss some stuff up there if you wanted to without the worry of it sliding off.

 

I think it’s awesome what Lucky8 & NewDefenderMods are doing with the Defender. The off-road enthusiast market is huge in NAmerica & the more JLR taps into that will help keep the company afloat.
You don’t want to pull up bedside the new Bronco & look like some “grocery getter” heading to the mall especially if you live in truck country like I do.
