Delivery of my defender Jan 2022, discovered fuel filler flap does not lock, has anybody had same issue?

 

Mine does the same thing. I think it’s one of the items left off because of the chip shortage.

It's not broken. They just don't lock.

 

Thanks, can the Ad-blue and fuel openings be tampered with.

 

Idk about the blue juice. I have a p400. Yes, it's ready for sugar.

 

I took delivery of a new Defender last week. There were lots of things missing which LR put down to lack of chips but to not having a locking fuel flap or sunglasses storage is nothing to do with chips. What are they up to?

 

Reading this is starting to make me feel like I'm playing the lottery with my order...... ugh.... I guess time will tell

My 22 V8 that I took delivery of last week does not have a locking fuel filler door (it has everything else). Do we know for sure that it used to be standard?

 

It is not a standard feature. I've had 4 JLR vehicles and none have ever had it.
