Are these good for steps as well? My poor wife is 5'4 and shrinking and has a heck of a time getting in on the passenger side. I'm hoping to find a rockslider that would also work as a step up. She's ok on the drivers side as the steering wheel helps but the grab points for short people don't work very well for her when I'm driving.

Yes, we have the Lucky8's and they work great as steps. My mother loves using them. I put some non-slip tape on top and it works very well. Going to get the top plates to give them a more finished look soon.
I installed the Lucky 8 rock slider with the tread plate inserts, I also Line-X'ed them before installation. Excellent product, heavy but super sturdy and will take a beating. They are wide and make a great step.
This might be a dumb question....
Those that have the Tuffant sliders, where/how did you purchase them? As in their US site only shows rims.Am thinking of emailing them to ask, but through I'd ask here first. Thanks!

Yes - I also purchased from TuffAnt USA (Jake is the TuffAnt agent here). He imported a bunch of them and may have some left not yet sold/committed. I'm sure if he sells out he'll import some more. He's great, btw. Very helpful through the process.
He helped me install them, but I got the sense that was a mix of support to early adopters and a chance to confirm that they fit US-spec vehicles. I’m not sure that’s his long term business model. But you can ask him. It would have taken me a lot longer and a few more trips to Home Depot if I had tried to do it on my own.
