Default defender 110X rear lights recall?

Sent my 2020 110X for the second oil change at 22,000 miles. There were a bunch of recalls done, software updates even though my X was working fine with no problems at all. The last of the recall that needs to be done was the smoked rear lights. Dealer ordered the parts and now being replaced. I'm surprised, I'll be the first one for the dealer to have this done and they're putting it in their back burner because they want to reread the instructions of the install? Anyone have this done yet?

I don't there are many "recalls" on L663 in North America. I can think of 1-2 addons.

I never think I needed it since I did try to flash my escalade headlights and did not notice the rear lights turning off. The dealer went by the VIN number however.

That’s funny. They did this like 3 years ago on my X!

You are in a small market?

My dealer is 90 miles away and only bring it there for oil changes. But it is a volume dealer. I'm surprised this is their first time doing it.

Yikes that is surprising. I'd say that dealer needs to get their "act" together -- that recall is pretty basic, and it's NHTSA mandated and JLR mandated -- so - any V8 or X model that comes through there should have this done before it leaves.. As for rereading instructions, it's "order new taillights, when they come in, inform customer and set appointment, then, remove taillights, install new taillights". Just so you know. Pretty simple

Well the bonus is - you get new taillights !

Lol

Reread the instructions on a 10 minute swap out.

Probably 6 to 8 weeks.
