Picked it up today. They forgot to plug something. Everything working fine. Just noticed that the new lights are different from the old one. The new discovery loaner rides rough compared to my defender 110X. Glad to get it back!

 

What's different about the new lamps?

 

I wished I took a picture before hand but the back up lamp surrounds is deeper on the new one. I have the smoked tail lamps btw.

 

What is this rear lights recall? I have a 2020 X. What exactly does the recall do?

 

on X models with the smoked taillights, the taillights would go out when a bright light shines directly on them. This was caused by a photovoltaic over-voltage. The lights would cease to work until the next ignition cycle. Some cars with the standard red taillights were affected as well.
