Default Defender 130 possible purchase????

Im looking to buy a defender 130 and trading in my 2019 disco td6. The defender has a better towing capacity more room in the 3rd row and much better tech inside the only downside for me might be offroading capability because I take the disco offroad a lot and I would take the 130 but departure is affected a lot. Any opinions on how good it would be offroad.

What advantages does that 130 give you for your day to day that the 110 lacks? When we looked at it, all the extended room was for, was to enhance the 3rd row seating capabilities. If you need that space, then it makes sense. Otherwise, save the money and get a 110 (IMO). But either way, you'll love the Defender platform supple and capable!

We picked up a 130 more for the extra trunk space than the third-row seating. With two dog crates and three boys there is plenty of room without needing a roof box or other add-ons - at least for us. Dynamic performance of the 130 is extremely similar to the 110 - at least with the P400 engine in both of them which is what I tested. While I'd prefer to cut the few hundred pounds and go with the 110, for us, for now, the extra space is very handy. Haven't run it offroad so can't comment on that.

I need the 130 because maybe one or more times a week my in laws come with me and there is 7 of us then so I need the extra space that the 110 doesn't have otherwise the 110 would suit better the disco has plenty of space might keep the disco until somebody does some offroad test with the 130

Lucky8 has been posting his 130 with 35's on Instagram quite a bit. There's nothing the 130 is limted by that doesn't already limit the 110, except for the departure angle. Are you pushing the departure angle on the Disco? I've had my 130 for a month and love it. I am by no means pushing its offroad capabilities and my beach days at Assateague will be relatively pedestrian compared to what others on this forum are doing. That said, I got my family of 3 plus my 3 in laws comfortably in it this weekend which was so much better than taking 2 cars for the day. I'm eagerly looking forward to filing the seats and taking everyone on the beach this summer. Just get it. Thankfully there's no downvote button because I think the 130 looks better than the 110. *runs for shelter* 😉

You know the departure angle is not much less than the disco considering the disco only has 30 degrees while the 130 has 27.5 (if I'm not wrong) I'm not pushing it that much either not to the max ofcourse but now the only worry is the price might wait a bit then buy one slightly used and much cheaper than MSRP and I like the looks doesn't even look half bad coming from a disco that had a lot of hate when it came outit grows on you. In the next 2 years I might buy 1..
