Has anyone mounted a compressor somewhere in a defender 90 V8? I really don't want to go inside the spare tire. I can always just get a portable one but I figured id ask here first. Eyeing a sweet MORRFlate but something internal would be rad. I Know LR makes one but the forums seem not to be impressed. I would like to be able to do all four tires at once and as quick as possible. But of course with the 90 room is limited so I figured I’d ask the experts about slick mounting options here first.

 

I don not know about the 90 but you can get an OEM compressor installed in the 110 and it works great.

 

I disagree with the “forums not being impressed”.

For my use case, which involves what I’d call pretty heavy offroading, the compressor is brilliant in the back.

It’s a bit slower than a really good portable one but it’s tidy, in the back, works every time.

 

Can I use a 4 tire system like MORRFlate with it to fill all four tires at once? With the built in land rover one?

 

I just installed OEM compressor in driver side trunk panel (OEM location). It's tidy and takes up almost non valuable trunk floor space. It works good as it inflate and deflate at desire psi which is nice as well.

Only complain I have is that my loadspace storage box lid does not open well.

 

No you cannot with the OEM compressor. One tire at a time but it works great.
