Defender Ad Banned
I like the advert. However, seeing three Defenders parked, all with intact windshields all at once without a disclaimer of it being a simulation or some such, has left me feeling confused and scared.
A sternly worded letter to the good folks at the SCC and OFCOM was inevitable.

Commercial is still playing. I see it numerous times during the NHL playoffs. Second, easy way to fix this is to delete the parking sensor audio from the commercial and problem solved for the 2 morons that complained!
The clear sight rear view mirror is designed/meant to be used to observe traffic condition behind the vehicle while the vehicle is being driven. The wide angle scope of view of the camera lens is designed to cover blind spots and such.
Therefore, it would be dangerous if the clearsight rear view mirror is equipped with a lens that actually represents the actual scope of view because the driver would not be able to see the blindspots and such.
As for the commercial, I can understand why they banned it as it was conveying the message that the sensor detects void. Two people complained does not mean all the other people knew and did not complain. It only means two people complained because it's entirely possible that there were many people who were oblivious of the potential issues and that doesn't negate the validity of the risks.
The commercial was really well done and I really enjoyed it.
