It might take a few years to receive. We also need to know more info such as how long can it run on a fuel cell? I'll bet this technology kills off electric cars quickly and their low range.

 

Now, if they come up with this, for real, it will be revolutionary .... Where do I sign up !?

That depends. Do you go by the new Toyota or the vaporware Hyperion? Stunningly different versions of reality going on between those two.

 

I am sure there will be a hydrogen station on every block

 

Right after that we'll have the flying cars from The Jetson's so I'd hold off on the hydrogen car and wait.

 

Until we can create stable nuclear fusion outside a lab, hydrogen is a non-starter.

That said, fusion might arrive sooner than we think. Enormous strides happening there. We crack that, and hydrogen will put both electric and petrol vehicles out to pasture almost immediately.
