Does anyone have any idea how long it takes a defender to clear and leave the Brunswick GA port. My defender is due to arrive their on 3/20.

 

All I can say is that it took less time to ship from Slovakia to Baltimore than Baltimore to the Annapolis dealer (about 30 miles). Go figure! Arrived port of Baltimore Feb 5, still waiting. Hope you do better.

 

I sure hope the port in Brunswick is faster than Baltimore!!

 

Usually it is less than a week from the time it leaves the port to the time it arrives at your dealer. Of course, this isn't always the case, but it is the norm.

Is it a V8? Those seem to take forever.

My P300 took a week from landing in Boston to arriving in MN.

Mine is an OCTA which I think is the first wave of OCTA’s imported for sale in the US. Likely some government issues there. I also ordered the tow hitch assembly which I think is added at the port facility. Still the wait is frustrating and frankly impacted our Spring schedule. Oh well I just hope it is all worth it. In the meantime I went to the local Merc dealer to look at a G63 on the lot. About $215,000. Including some extras — PLUS a $15,000 dealer surcharge! Made me feel better with the OCTA. Now, if only the stock market would cooperate.. Of course the defender couldn’t get delivered a month ago with the market at a high!

 

i have the hitch and matte ppf, I didnt know the hitch was installed at the port. I wonder if the ppf is installed at the factory
