I’m close to preordering a Defender S 110 and have a couple questions. Currently the Defender and Defender S do not offer the premium LED headlights with DRL... to get those you need the First Edition or X which are out of my budget. What’s the likelihood I’ll be able to get these down the road in a year or so and be able to install them without any loss of functionality?

Second, I’m new to off-roading and still doing my research. I will be taking the defender off-road for camping, overlanding, and minor (?) rock crawling. How vital is the electronic active differential with torque vectoring by braking?

The lights I don’t have an answer for. I will say based on previous models that you should be able to upgrade the lights but i may need software upgrade/change as well as hardware.

Get the electronic diff, it’s the right choice if you plan to off road. I wish any of my LR3 had the E-locker
