Blackvue 900X 2 channel here. Love it. It has a parking mode, strong 4k image that is better than most (esp the LR camera system) and functionality that turns it off below a certain voltage in parking mode.

Very stealth too. Looks good unlike some of the dash cams. Installed dead center of windshield right up against the plastic cover for the windshield technologies. I'm 6'4" and I cannot actually see the camera unless I hunch down, it's hidden behind the clear sight mirror for my height. Hardwired in via the harness available at Powerful UK (which has been great but my rain sensor has stopped working so I'm wondering if that's why?)

I have two Garmin Mini 2 dash cams, one front and one rear, that I installed with the parking cable. The front being tapped into the overhead console utilizing PowerfulUK’s harness, the rear tapped into the cargo area fuse box. My only dissatisfaction being that while on standby mode, they will only record any impact incidents. An earlier Garmin 55W would detect and record any motion around the vehicle, which I miss. Let’s say someone walked by and keyed your car or did some other type of vandalism, the Garmin 55W would allow you to view that incident since it detected someone merely walking by. The Mini2 needs to sense an impact to record the incident. Unfortunately their product description was not clear on that and I assumed, my fault, that it would operate in a similar fashion to their other cams. Not a huge issue but one I miss. Does your dashcam record all motion in the vicinity, or just impact incidents?

I had the Mercylion A60-2CH dashcam in a Defender and it worked well and was a good quality picture. Have had on mine for about a year. I love it. has forward and rear dash cam recording. it works as my rear view as I have a 35"spare. also works great for trailer hookup/backup.

Just installed my $95 aliexpress one and its fantastic for the money....4k and took about 10 minutes to install with zero issues. Quality is nice and plastic piece matches very nicely with original and slight variance in vents but looks 100% factory.
