Hi Guys,
I'm looking into creating a detailed documentation of the L663 Defender. From memory, I have made a thread on this website (for some reason I can remember a maroon GUI) previously regarding help for the Wikipedia page, which I have been heavily working on as of late. I can't get the inline link button to work, so just google "defender l663 wiki" and you can check it out (it's still pretty wrong in some places). However, Wikipedia unfortunately doesn't really care for the finer details, making it difficult to document the car to the extent I would like. So, I figured it would be good to start a separate place for the documentation of all things 2020 Defender, similarly to how subaru-impreza.de (not a virus) goes into much detail on each Impreza WRX version. However, I don't know where I should make this, nor how I should make it. I need your guys' advice. I would like to include lists of all OEM accessories and options, and perhaps when they were available and where, because I understand things like black door handles are pretty much extinct. I have a pretty great understanding of the car, hence my ambitions. I don't doubt some of you could trump me on that, however.
Please let me know your thoughts, and sorry if this is in the wrong section

 

Not sure what you are asking, but I'm often slow. If you are asking if it's a good idea - Yep! LRDefender.org is my favorite place to search details/specs. If you are asking for more information for you to seed your wiki, then here's the library of links I would recommend. If neither of these, then I hope the rest of the Defender community can get value out of them. Either way - good luck!

Thanks so much! I’m aiming to not necessarily focus on workshop manuals since LRDefender.org already exists, but ‘finer’ details which could become sources of confusion into the future. Also, thanks for the list of links, I’ll make sure to check them out after I write this. How do I book mark them like you suggested?
On a broader note, I have found another forum which will be pretty useful (Defender2.net). Also, if anybody knows where I can actually make a documentation I’d be grateful for the tip.

Sadly, I don't know of anything that catalogs them all. These were from random searches and stumbling across them. You'll have to flex your search skills. Good luck.

 

You would have to contact a dealer, as these documents are the official training guides for salespeople, and they change every model year. My salesman sent one of these to me when I ordered my 2021, but unfortunately I no longer have access to the email address that he sent it to.
