Hello, I was just wondering does anyone know of any other ACC power fuses in the engine bay other than F8 EV 10 A Fuse, I have a couple things I want to wire up and I have already fuse tapped that spot.
You do know about the pretty darn convenient pre-wired power posts in the engine bay -- for the 2 mega fuses, right? Passenger side, by the hood hinges. If you pop off the black cover just aft of the red cover you'll see the locations missing the fuses.
I think they can take up to a 500a megafuse. So like, for aux lamps, or a winch. Or other high power consumers.
I have my Warn winch powered there, with a 450a megafuse. And still have a spare slot for hopefully roof lights someday.
Pop one of these in there and secure whatever you're trying to power to the 2nd terminal you have a winner winner chicken dinner ...

I am trying to wire in an auxiliary light controller unit, it doesnt require much power maybe 10A max , any other fuses u can think of?
Typically you would use a small fuse block or distribution unit wired into one of these main fuses.
You can get fancy and have something like the switch pros 9100 unit that fuses and relays 8 circuits with its remote switches or just stick with a simple12v 6 circuit fuse block off Amazon for $20 or less.

I am getting one of those units like the switch pros 9100, but it requires 10am fuse tap. I just dont know which fuse to tap into just need a simple ACC fuse other than F8
The sp9100 from switch pros has a 125amp main fuse in its feed. That’s exactly the kind of thing these maxi fuse taps were made for. A 10 amp feed into something like the sp9100 wouldn’t be useful as it has 8 circuit outputs which can be 10 or more amps each.

makes sense, it also has a 10amp fuse tap in the kit, I am just trying to figure out where to wire that one in.
