My 2022 110 SE came with full Acorn grained leather as well, although the build sheet said it would be the textile/leather in the center. I’m glad with the change.

 

@DefenderRR on the regular SE, the armrests and beams are that foamy neoprene material

 

I have a 2022 X-Dynamic with Robustec and its outstanding so far. If you dig into the Land rover literature you can see that this material was created for the defender to make the most durable fabric they possibly could, it is supposed to last 30+ years. It is made of PU Platelets stitched together.

There is confusion with the Robustec that stained on the 2020/2021 MYs, this was on the S and SE trims and is a completely different fabric than what is on the X-dynamic.

 

Thanks, @Ahparke . I've been having a TERRIBLE time keeping up with all the different fabric names/types. Leather - got that! The others, I think I need a fabric sample set to understand them all. I have a MY'22 X-HSE and have been wondering if something will suddenly start bothering me or if folks are writing about something else. Glad for me & sad for them, that the later is what's up.

 

What's interesting is that LR is moving the lower builds into all leather instead of into part leather part Robustec....I wonder what that says about it all?

For anyone else wondering, The best source of info i found regarding the fabrics was the defender brochure on the land rover website. The dealers all have fabric samples as well if you want to go in and see them.

 

My MY22 110 SE has full grained leather (Khaki) seats and Robustec door trim and center console lid. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked it up last week.

 

My Tasmin Blue when I picked it up from the dealership.

I like the storage organizer. I also have the air compressor.

I also like the the extended wheel arches and the mud flaps.
