A few more from the weekend at Mount Baker. Exploring some forest tracks for camping spots and hiking trails. A road closure from a big washout on one track and snow getting a little too deep for comfort on others means I need to go back later in the year.

Wow! That's epic!! My bucket list is to watch Le Tour in the Pyrenees. At this point, maybe another life. PLEASE post more Defender ****: Pics of Defenders near mountains, in mud, yada yada. Especially anywhere outside of the USA (sorry, I'm in the USA and anywhere else is exotic to me...)

Great pictures Pyrenees.Defender!.

The shots from inside really set the tone. Salubrious interior and amazing capability that makes trips like this a breeze. Crosby Stills and Nash on the stereo too. All in all, looks like a pretty bloody great day out.

I've done a lot of dumb "stuff" in my life. Standing below a 4x4 on a steep slope isn't one of them. That is epic even by my "hey, watch this" red-neck standards. I think it has less to do with his trust than his lack of a give a "crap". He'd rather just stand there than walk to the up-hill side. It's also a strong advertisement as to why to keep a CB or GMRS radio in your vehicles when off roading.

A little exploration after a short morning of skiing. The melt is opening up more fire roads. A track along some power-lines was fun. So far, the OEM Wrangler Adventures are holding up. Mud-Rutts setting in TR2 was used mostly.
