The Defender opens up so much terrain in which to play. My buddy has been thinking about getting a Bronco for some time. He seemed to enjoy the ride in the Defender.
Hey, Just saw your post about doing your oil at 16k and wondering what you're thinking about tires? I am at 24k and am itching to just change them early. I have the same "off-road" tires as yours that come with it and they haven't really let me down but curious if you've thought about changing early.

After much dithering and indecision, I just pulled the trigger on 265/70 R18 KO2s yesterday. Costco among others including BFG and General Tire at TireRack (Their MT X3's were on my mind a long time) are having their fall sales. I went with the 32.6" KO2 for my new 18" Tuffants. Will be so much better having sidewalls I can trust and a tire I can air down. More grip, more comfort.

They have the white lettering on one side but the other half has more style than me so the lettering will not be on display. Sad!

O no way glad I asked. Excited to see your defender on 18s that will look killer! I will check out those sites I think I am ready to switch as well. Post pics when you get them swapped over!

Excellent! Did it in 2014 in a rental JK Wrangler 2-door I got for 3 days of desert exploration. What a blast I had on the completely deserted dirt roads of Joshua Tree! I envy you.
