I did my rounds at work a few weeks ago in the Defender and took a few snaps

Stuck in the parking lot at Mammoth Mountain. Got pulled out by some nice people in that 4Runner. So embarrassing.
Apparently I parked in an icy depression and the tires couldn’t get traction.

Looks like an epic day of powder. Must have been magic.
Parking lots can be a doozy. I managed to activate my extended offroad height last year in a snowy one. Still waiting on LR to send me the achievement badge.

I bring my MaxTrax with me always now. They sort of double as a wind faring for the ski rack too. Already used them once in the snow this year after trying to self plow myself a nice spot to park. Used them to help another car get unstuck too.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. All good fun. Circle of life. You'll help the next bloke/gal.

In contrast to all that snow, this is camped next to the Zambezi River in Northern Zimbabwe about 10meters from a pod of hippos.

After some x-country skiing this morning, a little side trip up an icy/shushy forest road.

Grip galore on the Blizzaks. A little fun too.

Love the channel, Bruce. Traveling through the African bush is almost therapeutic after a stressful day. Keep up the good work.

She’s a beast in the snow. Started off the day by pulling a Tahoe out (after the Silverado failed).

KO2s have performed well in the snow. Not as good as a dedicated winter, but I never had major slipping.
