Default Is delivery of the 110 with p300 4 cylinder turbo ending?

I heard from my dealer that I was lucky to get the 2022 base as they are not expecting to be able to order or get any 4 cylinder turbos for My23 2023 models. Is this true?

I received a production order last week for my '23 90S 4 cylinder. I don't know about availability on the 110's though.

Nobody can give or will give a true answer here, but this is what I know - learned of it in the last few days:
P300 are deprioritized in favor of P400 (= more expensive), which in turn is deprioritized for the production of Velar (= even more $$$). They claim the lack of chips.
So, yeah ... they're gonna be even more scarce.
But, Velar ? of all the models ? Who knows, probably a better ROI ?
However, it begs the question: how is that Tesla sells like crazy and does not seem to have a chip crisis or major delays ?

My dealer was getting allocations in January for the P400s only. Told me I am "first in line" for the February allocation for a P300 110. Now I am getting worried. I neither need nor want the X-package and the 6 cylinder. As others have noted it may all be down to JLR maximizing profitability.

On the other hand my 22 Bronco order finally got a build date and a VIN, so I guess I will at least have something cool to drive until the Defender shows up.

They wisely avoided semi-conductors and went with tubes and transistor chips.

That sounds really funny when I read it.

Reminds me of the classic Natl Lampoon Vacation line about the Family Truckster Clark is about to buy.

YOU THINK YOU HATE IT NOW...

It now makes sense !

I know some here turn their nose up at the new Bronco and the Wrangler. Thats too bad. as they are highly capable vehicles off road.

Ummm... I think you missed my point entirely, as it had absolutely zero to do with the Bronco, and even less with the Wrangler (of which I have been a fanatical owner the last 8 years.)

I know jokes lose their funny if you have to explain them, but here goes: Ya see, he's saying he'll have something cool to drive "UNTIL HIS DEFENDER ARRIVES." That's the funny part.
