Truth is I think with these modern cars it is best to carry a battery pack (e.g. https://antigravitybatteries.com/pro...o-starts/xp-1/) as part of the emergency kit.

Incidentally, both my LRs (2021 D90 and 2017 Disco 5), had to be towed in the past two months so had to follow the recovery procedure. It’s pretty straightforward and though in both cases the cars were displaying low battery messages, there was enough juice left to release the EPB.

@Juancl - Totally agree. I've acquired a battery tender and one of those battery packs because of this beast.
