They're not removable in my 7 seater. Maybe it's possible but I sure can't find a way. The button on them allows them to fold down to give you more room if you want to slide the second row forward more when folded down.

In any event, there is no reason to remove headrests in the 7 seater. Folding them increases rear view (if desired) and allows unimpeded movement of the seats in the locked down position if the front seats are too far back or if you want to fold them down and slide them forward.

Foldable head rests.

Second row seat slid fully forward with folded headrest.

@GavinC removal was required to properly fit my kids car seats in the 2nd row.

@smithbp there is thread on this site and LR have an official guide.

Thanks Doc. Good to know. I figured there had to be a way to do it. I'm dumb as a box of rocks and didn't think to look under the seat material.

I never considered a big ol' child seat. My youngest is 8 so all that malarkey is long forgotten in the distant past.

@GavinC @tooth_dr thanks for the info! nice to know they can be removed if needed and that the second row has a locking position to get them more flat!

on a side note, @tooth_dr it appears we may be in the same line of work… for me brackets and wires.

cheers!

No worries. Glad my bad info was corrected. I think I'm also in a similar field. Small tunnels and gutta percha for me.

That’s really funny guys! I enjoy making small holes and filling them back up again 😜

I am on my second 110, and having the seats go completely flat is very important to me. I really wanted a little more room and thought I would be putting an order in on a 130.... but the seats are a huge disappointment, They barely even fold down and the surfaces are all different heights. This is completely useless for hauling anything other than people. You can see how they work here:

130 Seat Review
I haven't had any issues hauling a bunch of crap in my 130, not sure what your hauling that requires a perfectly flat floor but I haven't encountered it yet.
Barely folds down? That's just not true, it creates a ton of room vs seats up.
