Dog ramp
Rosemary, our 135lb bloodhound definitely fell end over end today getting into the Defender... She jumped up with the front half, then back legs missed the bumper, skidded across the license plate, and in slow motion she did a full reverse flip. Somewhat sad actually as I stood there on the phone watching it all happen (oops), but she's fine.
Dog ramp wouldn't be awful. My more athletic Labrador has no issue, but my other 10 year old bloodhound has to be picked up.
Re: the ramp, I was wondering myself it would fit on the rear floor between the left and right door?
Mine is 110 5seater. The center console doesn’t left enough space for the ramp to lay flat on floor. And there’s bump in the center of floor which makes it unstable while driving. :-(
Air suspension set in access mode with the additional sag of the loading mode button in the rear really helps. It's a game of inches for these dogs jumping in the back. I just like to pick them up to avoid scratches all over the bumper.
