I have a 2023.5 and was wondering if anyone has found a way to bypass the valves to make them open all the time via a fuse or disconnect; and or has installed a valve controller.

looks like milltek makes one for their exhausts- which I am assuming uses the same factory valves? I am wondering if it would work with the stock muffler and valves?

In for answer. I actually didn't know the factory exhaust had a valve on the exhaust.

Edit. I just realized DV8 = defender V6.

My lowly P400 likely doesn't have the valve.

 

Fitted the valve controller on my V8 and it works fine though not a huge sound improvement unless you pair it with an exhaust upgrade/mod
