I’ve always loved the Safety Devices racks that came on the D1 and D2s, so I’m attempting to find something similar for my 110. Anyone have a Rovercore rack? Spending $2500+ hurts my head but all options seem to be in that range. Anyone have ideas on other options with a similar aesthetic?
Why can't anyone design a basket rack is the question I have. Who thought leaving the front and back end of a roof rack open was a good idea! "Hey, let me toss my bag or my case or my whatever up there for a little while while on the trail, oh wait!" "The back and front of the rack is wide open!
Looks like that rovercore rack is $3k plus 300-500 shipping. Thats pretty steep, but at least it looks like you might not need to remove the oem bolts/rails?
So there is this, the oem rack, and the short front runner as compatible with the oem rails. Voyager and big front runner need to remove the rails/bolts.
It’s a bummer there aren’t more options, i dont really care for the looks of the oem rack but I might just go that way unless i can convince myself the short front runner doesnt look goofy
