Hi all!

For Christmas my wife has given me a full day at an Experience Center, location and timing of my choice. Am reaching out to all that have done one. Comments on which one they did (CA, NC, or VT) and also the time of year. I'm in CO, so the CA would be the only one I'd consider driving to, however even that I'd more than likely fly out to and use an JLR truck and not my own! Timing, I'm pretty much open, prefer cooler weather over sweltering summer, so July in NC is not happening. Then again, frozen fingers doing a recovery is something I would like to keep in the past, so maybe VT in Feb is out.

I did the one in Carmel CA in November and used their Defender. It was fantastic. If you’re traveling for it anyway I’d highly recommend it. It’s near some of the most beautiful scenery in the world and countless other destinations including Laguna Seca if you lean towards that end of the enthusiast world.

I did a full day at Asheville in my truck in November. Amazing experience and great staff.

 

I've done the VT experience three times. Always a great time in a cozy section of VT. Manchester is a nice town and you can visit the Orvis Headquarters etc

 

I second Carmel. Just did a half day experience in November and our instructor was awesome. Perfect weather too.
