I’m not 100% positive. It wasn’t a point of discussion and I was under the impression that it was through Land Rover honestly. I can go checkout the paperwork later and get back to ya.

I am doing paperwork right now for my my21. I got $1000 off sticker, not 100% on APR until credit app is in and I can confirm that MY 20’s are 0.9%

Did end up getting the extended warranty since I put so many miles on my vehicles commuting. Went with the 5yr/100k miles and I think it was somewhere around $3200’ish.
I could not find rates that beat Navy Federal. Its what I have in my back pocket. Would be interested if my dealer would offer the same deal as you.

Default Extended Warranty

We picked up our 2021 back in December. It’s our first Land Rover purchase and we were concerned about reliability and especially on a new model that may not have all the kinks worked out yet - so we were very interested in an extended warranty. The dealer initially offered a warranty through Allstate, very comprehensive coverage, (the “Premier Care” in the attached) for 7 yrs, 100K miles for $5,089. On the day of the transaction, we negotiated price, and ended up getting the same coverage, but through Continental for $3,849. All repairs use OEM parts, work can be done at the dealership or any shop of our choice, payments are direct to the shop so we don’t have to pay upfront and get reimbursed, and the coverage is transferable if we sell the car. We haven’t used it yet, so I can’t speak to that side of it. But for less than $4k we thought the peace of mind was worthwhile. I did a bit of research and it seems the warranties are more expensive if you wait to purchase them when the factory warranty ends or bears its end.

What dealer was this? My dealer said they also work through Continental. May be nice to say I had a friend negotiate their coverage for $X amount.

Does a dealer extended warranty have to be purchased at time of vehicle purchase, which does not make sense since you are covered by LR warranty for the first 4 years/50k? Geico's 7year/100k warranty (called mechanical breakdown insurance MBI), you can wait until just before your vehicle reaches 15k or 15 months, thus saving you a few $$. Costs around $35.00 a month.

This is what the Allstate extended warranty does not include. 8 years/100k miles $3997,before driving off lot.

The service contract will get more expensive as your vehicle nears the end of the factory warranty. I ended up purchasing an Allstate 10 yr/100,000 mile exclusionary contract. It was comparatively inexpensive, many will only do 7 years but we plan to keep it 10. It’s a solid company financially. And being an exclusionary contract it covers everything not specifically excluded, making it fairly comprehensive (only wear and maintenance items are excluded)
