Does anyone know the life of factory tires for 22s?

The factory tires are the Continental CrossContact LX. They have a 65,000 mile warranty, but it all depends on your driving style. If you are a more spirited driver, or drive in more arduous conditions you'll go through tires sooner.

ah ok. I vaguely remembered some forum said the tread life on factory 22s is like 20kmiles. Good to know it’s 65k miles. Thanks

That is the warranty on the standard version. The stock 22" tires are OEM tires made to JLR's specs and have LR printed on them. However, OEM tires fitted at the factory don't have a treadwear warranty. Replacement tires do have one, but original ones won't.

My apologies for any confusion.

got you. Thanks for the clarification. I’m interested in the actual life. My usage is normal in city roads. About 5k miles in a year. Just wondering when I can go to rugged off-road tires

If I were you, I'd ditch the 22" wheels ASAP and try to find a set of take-off 20" wheels on ebay. Or you could just swap the Continentals for a 22" A/T if you aren't going to venture too far off-road.
