Default Factory matte wrap question

Hello, I recently ordered a black 110 with the factory matte wrap - it's a $4,900 option and I love the way it looks. I saw one video with the matte wrap, from the factory, on a different color and was able to see that the wrap didn't go all the way to the edges, but I thought that may be a one-off, then I saw the video below and now I'm nervous about the factory doing it. Does anyone have the matte factory wrap and can they confirm that the wrap goes to the edges and there is no paint exposed? Thanks!

Are you able to change it? I think I'm going to cancel the factory and have a local place do the wrap. I was going to have the place finish off the spots that the factory doesn't do anyway, so I figured that I would have them do the whole thing.

Unfortunately no. Placed the order last July, finally got a build slot in March, so just past my last change date. I was sitting on the fence about the factory wrap vs a full wrap afterwards. When it finally comes I'm sure to post photos.

Please do - I think with Eiger grey, it won't be too noticeable if they don't go all the way to the edge. The ONLY thing I'd be worried about is dirt getting in there. Why did it take so long for the build? I went to the dealership last week and the guy said they have some builds happening now that will be delivered in July and I have until 4/4 to make any changes. Did I just get lucky that they have some that are being built now or do you think the dealer is lying to me and I won't get it for a year? This is the first time ordering a car and customizing it, for me.

Honestly, I don't know why. I tell myself "it's how it is". I also think the 3rd shift at the factory has helped. In the back of my mind I think the dealer didn't believe I really wanted the car or it was not expensive enough for them (they seem to do a lot of very high spec RR and jazz). We're not in a dire need for the Defender, so I'm not stressed that it has taken this long. What's the old saying "good things come to those who wait"?...

My color is gray so it’s not so noticeable and until I saw this post I hadn’t really noticed. After multiple JLR products I try not to look too hard so I don’t find things wrong lol. But after looking closer it’s a pretty poor job. I am afraid on a non gray car it will look really badly. Sorry that sucks. Maybe they will have improved 🤞

Thanks for the pics. I think with your color, it's fine. I'm getting black, so it'll look weird.
