Default Factory "Off-Road Tire/Tyre"

In talking with my local JLR dealer, he mentioned that the factory 20" Off-Road Tire could be any of a few different makes/models on a 24 MY 110. What have you all seen recently? I am guessing it will be the GY Adventure??

Thanks.

I thought the only facotry off-road tires were either the Defender-specific (well, LR specific, anyhow) Goodyear Wrangler, or the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. That said, I've never actually seen one delivered on anything other than the regular Wrangler (maybe you have to custom-spec the Duratrac with the dealer?). In any event, the sidewalls are weak and they're not 3-peak mountain snowflake, so I'm not a fan of either.

The Duratech is equipped on commercial (I e "hardtop") models, pretty sure. We don't have the distinction over here.

Even the tread itself is weak on the adventure. Last summer I had a rock punch though while driving on a graded and maintained gravel road that people routinely drive normal cars with non-AT tires on. It is a sorry excuse for an "adventure" tire. Land Rover should've had Michelin come up with an AT version of the defender tire, something along the lines of falken wildpeak, Cooper discoverer at3, bfg k02, etc.

I guess it's good I took it easy when off-roading around the Badlands last year. The tires were honestly my biggest concern. I've since replaced with Falken Wildpeaks and am much happier now.

275/55R20. Fit my stock 20" rims and stock air suspension in all ride heights. Slightly more noise at speed but it doesn't bother me in the slightest, and well worth it for having a better tire.
