I have seen cars come into my shop with plugs in the sidewall. Which I promptly recommend they replace the tire.

Most do, some don't.

My personal vehicles, any sidewall damage, gets replaced. Any damage that close to the sidewall, gets replaced. Your 2 for one special, wouldn't even be considered to be saved.

And the tread on that tire is shot.

besides the foreign object, there is zero tread on that tire and is unsafe for the street.

Just needed a nut and washer on the end so it couldn’t come out!

....amazing the crap that gets dropped on our roadways!
