Default Fading Plastic

Side view mirror tops no longer "black" fading to grayish.

Anyone else observed?

I use 303 Protectant. I try to hit all the plastic pieces every other month or so. So far it is keeping things looking pretty nice.

I am a year and a half in, but I park in a garage at work, so that cuts down on exposure time.

So, I submitted a formal complaint / defect to LR corporate and LR Va Beach several months ago, my fade started about 6 months after purchase and I garage daily in PM.

I don't think this is a 303 type of UV protectant issue or UV fading. Also, 303 looks terrible on gloss black... it smears, I don't see how you might apply it to the gloss mirror surrounds. ... that said, I have 4 bottles of it in my garage and it's great on matte black/plastics. Like on a D2, LR3, etc. Not a ton of spots for it on the exterior of the L663.

Mine is also garaged and rarely out in the sun as well (hence thinking this is not a UV fading issue).

Mine actually has faded a bit grayish but with a noticeable purplish tint. Like old window tint from the 80's on a Camaro (lol). Yours too?
