It does look great. Best looking rack available imho. I guess I’m going to brave the bolt issue and get one of these. The key value to me is that you can attach stuff like Maxtrax and shovels to the side even if you have a tent on the rack. That’s pretty awesome.

wondering if touching a soldering tip to the bolt heads for a bit could loosen the locktite without damaging anything nearby.

 

Has anyone else gotten this rack and if so, how is the wind noise?

 

I have it and it's great. Wind noise is not bad at all but most of my driving is city, not highway.
