Thanks for sharing! That hidden winch is really all about the "hook" connector. Seems similar to the usual version, but in this case the license plate goes over it (seen many of those) and because it is long and narrow you can even see where they bend it around the winch connection<g>. Also love the "defects" per new vehicle graph. Not trying to be a "hater", but I've always had the impression that the Chrysler/Jeep products were WAY more defects than that shows. Jeep has less "issues" than Toyota!? I think that's likely because the average Jeep owner expects them while the Toyota owner gets bent & brings it in.... I know if I had an issue with a new Jeep I'd expect it, but if I had a new Toyota I'd likely go back to the dealer. Heck, on a Jeep, I'd have likely replaced it with aftermarket parts already! (Sorry, last Jeep I owned was a very old, lifted CJ-5 in high school and I didn't treat it very well).
Two random thoughts went through my head watching that video. First, I would NEVER do that to mine. I love that it CAN, I'm just way to frugal/cheap and anxious to put it thru that. Second, likely not based on any reality, but the entire time I'm watching that young guy dog that Defender I'm thinking to myself: "that's what Ransomware payments go to"!

I doubt Chrysler will ever shake that reputation but Stellantis actually seems to be doing something right now and the "top plant" awards are interesting with a bunch of vehicles at only 25 defects per hundred. Here's the whole story.
JD Power, smh... we all know RAM owners are by and large great judges of quality. After jumping up to a new truck after driving ten rotted out beaters, yippee it's dandy!!

My JK has been terrible! I had to replace the transfer case, full suspension, wheels, tires (5 sets in 41,000 miles so far), entire front and rear axle, rock sliders, both bumpers, sway-bar endlinks, under-chassis armor, exhaust system, diff gearing and lockers, and add a missing full roll cage, additional armor, bikini top, CB, auxiliary gas tanks.
