Fire Extinguisher Mount Point?
I'm strongly considering this solution from Element Fire Ext as opposed to a tradition CO2 extinguisher.
Aside from working on the whole gamut of fire types (A, B, C, & K), its compact form factor, and not having to monitor/check state of charge, makes it very appealing. Seems an elegant solution for our LRD, Macan, trailer, and motorcycles. Having had to use, and cleanup, from discharging dry chemical extinguishers on a sail boat fire - they can be a chore for cleanup (albeit vastly better than losing the entire vessel / vehicle).
Anyway, just another option worth considering.

I purchased a Halotron extinguisher after looking at a lot of them. Picked it primarily due to the fact that it will not destroy the electronics in other parts of the truck where the fire is not.
Small enough to mount right behind the rear seats where there is a spot with a strap already.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to get a Fire Extinguisher on my order from factory in the U.S.? I see in the specs at the bottom of my build sheet “Less Fire Extinguisher”. I know they don’t come with them for U.S. orders but wondered if that’s changeable. Same with Flare Holder and Engine Block Heater. If ya guys know something, lemme know. Thanks!

Edit: Nvm, I see they sell a few different mounts on their website

One mounting clip normally comes included with the extinguisher so, depending on how and where you want to mount it, you may not need an extra clip.
I mounted mine to the dog barrier we put in our 110 to keep our large Golden Retriever in the back (https://www.travall.com/travall-guard-1669/pet-barrier/luggage-barrier/land-rover-defender-110/.html)
I bought Lucky 8’s “Dog Guard Fire Extinguisher Kit” (https://lucky8llc.com/products/dog-g...tinguisher-kit) that mounts to the grid of the dog guard. It comes with an extinguisher; it was time to replace the one I had anyway.
There was some squeaking, so I got a sheet of self-adhesive foam from my local hobby store (https://www.michaels.com/product/12-...re=1586&inv=10) and cut out bits to cover every point that touched the dog guard or the extinguisher. It isn’t silent yet, but it’s not bad.
