I have seen a few videos where you will have to take out the entire bumper to remove the silver trim pieces and in one video I saw a guy removing side vents by pulling them straight out and then unscrewing the plate from below and four screws in the front and sliver trim comes out.
Do you have access to the repair manual that has been posted here in the past? Section 501-19 covers this. There's quite a bit to do to expose all of the screws.
You'll break clips. I did that, just like in the PUK video and ended up buying new ones. The flimsy built in clips all along the bottom front bumper snapped (and around the headlamps) when I removed them installing my bullbar and winch. Then when I put the bumper together it looked janky and a little off and the panels wouldn't snug up properly. So I bought new bottom L&R pieces, then had to have them painted which took a month at the bodyshop.. All in, about $800 ... stupid mistake.
Search around here bc I posted about it. The actual JLR body shop mgr told me the trick is to make a soap / water solution (very slippery, not low concentration) and spray it in the crevasses very good before you pull. Once I did that, no issues. I've had multiple panels off the car... zero cracked or broken clips.
Does anyone know if there are 10mm bolts that must be removed between the side aux radiators and the back of bumper cover?
Once i loosen the 10mm outermost bolt where the wheel arch meets the bumper cover, do I simply pull horizontally away? Using concentrated liquid soap trick mentioned above
You need to look at Hunters Prestige You Tube video which is excellent. It shows exactly how to remove the bumper and the panels. I had to remove my bumper to fit some lights and it was an easy job following their video.
