It is a good thing to expose, I agree.
The front undertray kit has a rounded metal bracket to protect the coolant hose lines (shown in your photo) which connect the auxiliary radiator(s) to main radiator, as well as the main radiator. Both the hoses and the main radiator are inches away from the recovery bracket and all are bolted into the same transverse beam.
Just hoping you will take care with the tow hook ..................
