What is the added height from roof to top of rack or is it the same as the expedition?

Just did a rough measurement and you are looking at an extra 6 inches(rounding up) added from the top of the roof(not rails)

Knocked mine out this morning. Reused an INNO fairing (size M) I had laying around. Very quiet over the Front Runner fairing they supply.

It is still there once you hit 65, but I will be putting on a fairing, which will further reduce it.

That looks good. We have a Frontrunner rack from our older Discovery and want to use it with the new Defender. Where did you get the six mounting feet to match the rails?

I ordered the whole kit from Frontrunner. You can buy the fit kit separately, which will give you the needed foot pack. Reach out to Frontrunner because if you have an existing foot pack, you might just need new metal inserts.

No glamor shots for me. I’m in between phones so I took these photos on an old iPhone seven. But the big front runner rack is officially on the wife’s car. I’m really happy with it. Haven’t had it on the highway yet. Can’t speak to the wind noise or anything

Looks great. Will the long FR rack allow for the OEM box and/or side ladder to be attached?

Looks very nice. Somehow looks more integrated than oem which I think sticks up too high. Am curious about noise though since so many think it’s an issue, and the front profile of the frontrunner doesn’t exactly look aerodynamic at all.

I'd say probably not for the gear carrier because it looks like it relies on slotting into the roof rail? So i'm not sure it could be mounted on anything if the roof rails aren't there anymore.

Maybe re: the ladder since it looks like it could more easily be made to conform to the roofline and slide between the gutter spacer and the base of the Roof Rack, it would throw your tilt of the rack off a touch but i'd imagine that would be doable. I'm not keen on either of those accessories anyway. I'm hoping the aftermarket sorts the ladder situation for the back of the truck i know lucky 8 has a prototype i'm not crazy about (seems like tread depth is non existent in their current iteration) but i'm in no major rush. I just dont like those boxes hanging off the sides of the truck
