Fuel Tank Skids

Fuel Tank Skids
Just want to give a shout out to Sarek Autowerke. Today, they installed fuel tank skids and a reinforcement kit for the steering rack. Below is the before pick of a badly dented fuel tank and the after pic of the beefy skid that I'm sure will provide the needed protection. Their skid is designed for their own sliders, but they did a bit of custom fabrication to marry this up with my TuffAnt rock sliders.

Oh man that is awesome. Awesome. Aluminum - yum.
One thing though, I don't think that's the actual fuel tank that's dented. Isn't that the stock fuel tank "guard" that comes on the L663? I have a dent in mine too. But have never removed it. When it was removed did you see if your tank was damaged or no?

Thx for your support. It was a pleasure hanging out with you at the shop. I took a look at the Beartooth Highway in Montan and Wyoming. Wow! Those views are amazing!
We did have to do a bit of adjustments to the skid to make it compatible with the Tuff Ant Sliders. We will make a few adjustments to the model to allow much easier installation next time. This is just the rear skid of our 4 skid plate system underneath the vehicle. Also we offer it classes in UHMW for added protection and less friction.
here are also some photos of the Steering Rack Reinforcement
