The majority gave estimates for all manner of repairs and replacements, and a few merely bent it back into place and said ‘no charge’. Once I got a call from my wife while I was away informing me that a spring had broken and she called for repairs, which cost over $600. They replaced all kinds of parts not needed, and I priced a replacement spring at around $50. Be wary.

If you have a stand alone garage, it is actually pretty simple to raise the garage up, rent a couple bottle jacks , lift the walls and add some pressure treated 2x4 or 4x4 between the top of the foundation and the sill plate of the existing wall.
