Default Generic Gear Box & Ladders?

Has anyone purchased some of the “generic” gear boxes or side ladders from EBay? I’ve found a gloss black ladder and box I want to purchase to save some money….just wasn’t sure about quality. Thanks

I bought my gear box from Amazon, it is great quality and has lasted through two MN winters with no issues. Bonus, it came with a predrilled trim piece so I didn't need to drill my factory part.

I bought a ladder from Alibaba, and it's the same quality. That also came with a trim piece so I didn't need to drill.

And I bought a replica of the factory roof rack in all black from Alibaba. It's been perfect. ($300 for the rack, $800 shipping to my door taxes paid)

I paid less than half of what the factory options are and if you used any of these parts you wouldn't know they weren't factory. My dealership thought they were all factory parts and was curious where I got the roof rack.

Did your gear box come with a Land Rove badge on the side? I have the oem ladder and rack but thinking of saving some cash on the gear box, also like the fact you get an additional pre cut trim piece!

Do you have a link for the one you bought?

you can buy OEM badge on Amazon to put on it. I ordered some and they look great and already have 3M tape ready to install

all of the listings that i see on ebay are showing a black predrilled trim piece.

I have fuji white so I'm wondering if people are getting these things painted somewhere to match the vehicle?

thanks.

Yeah I ordered a ladder and gear box and both came with black pre-drilled trim pieces. You might be able to reach out to one of the many sellers and see if they have white?

If anyone has an undrilled left 110 trim piece in Santorini Black, I would like to buy it or swap with my trim piece that has the holes drilled for a ladder.
