When I picked up my Defender I was shocked at how much darker Gondwana Stone is in person. Much deeper and richer than the stock photos —which look quite a bit washed-out in comparison.

Yes. Nice choice on your Defender. I saw your earlier post about your vehicle arriving and I recognized the picture you provided as being the dealer near me. So I went down there to see the colors in person.

 

anyone else notice the blue Defender with a white top - maybe around 11 o'clock? I LOVE the two tones! besides looks, the white roof may reduce cabin heat (as it's more reflective of sun's light), and the blue - probably Tasman Blue? - always looked good to me in photos. I saw an older FJ Cruiser with the same color scheme; it's definitely a stand out as it drove by, as very few have a white roof matched to a non-white body.

 

I have a Silicon Silver with White top on order, absolutely can not wait to get behind the wheel and drive or pull up a chair and just stare at it.

We have a lantau bronze 110 with a white roof and 22" silver wheels....I find myself giving it the occasional stare as well...!

 

22" rims seems a bit aggressive for a Defender! What's the benefit to those vs. what it probably came with, like 20" inch?
