Good Experiences with Dealers in the DC Area?
Folks,
I'm based in DC, and while I've been working with one of the local authorized LR dealers on my car, I'm not thrilled with the speed of their work (appreciating managing lots of customers) and lax communications. I'm curious if folks in this area can relay any good experiences they've had. It just feels like I drop my car off and it sits on the lot. It's a warranty related issue (see previous thread on "thumping noises").
Thanks.

Bought my defender at Annapolis Land Rover and have had decent service, although have not needed much. Have also used Independent Land Rover in Rockville with good service on Mr RRS and new D90 (oil change, etc.). Bought my RRS at Bethesda but they have been bought out and went through terrible service. Did my activations and installed a front undershield with Sarek in Richmond. A drive but really good treatment. Hope that helps.
Similar service experience at JLR Chantilly. Simply can't manage a schedule.
While I can't speak to service, the purchase experience at JLR Tysons was great. Very accommodating - hands on when asked, hands off when asked. If the level of professionalism on the sales floor extends to the service department, this may be the place to go.
