Grained Leather vs Windsor leather
Is upgrading from the Acorn Lunar Grained leather to the Vintage Tan Windsor leather for $2400 worth it? How does it compare? I see you get the 14 way heated and cooled seats vs 12 with the upgrade as well. Can you notice the difference?
The Windsor leather feels much more premium than the standard - I outlined where leather is added in this post:

14 way are fully electric I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong there I haven't been in the configurator for a long time now. I opted for partially electric which have manual fore and aft. Major regrets with that choice, many clicking noises from the seat tracks and backrest area with weight transfers, during stop and go traffic, stop signs etc. Dealer noted the issue but indifferent as to fixing it, latest inspection said works as designed. smh Definitely go with the higher end seats would be my advice. As to the leather quality I can't speak to that. I have the grained and it seems acceptable as far as that goes. Best leather seats I've sat in lately were in a Ridgeline Black Edition for a lot less than what I'm paying. Fwiw.
Windsor Leather is what I ordered on my 130 (Vintage Tan) and it’s essentially the Range Rover leather. My 90 had the standard all vegan leather seats (Ebony) and while they were extremely comfortable for me, they didn’t look as good as Windsor Leather. So yeah I’d upgrade, but that’s me.
It really depends on what you like and how much you're willing to spend. The Vintage Tan Windsor leather does give a more luxurious look and feel, but is it worth shelling out an extra $2400? That's something only you can decide. Now, let's talk about the seats. The 14-way heated and cooled seats do sound pretty awesome compared to the 12-way ones. But honestly, whether you'll notice the difference or not is totally up to you. Oh, by the way, if you're curious about understanding whether the leather is real, you can check out vonbaer.com. At the end of the day, it's your call. If you think the upgraded features and the Vintage Tan Windsor leather are worth it, go for it. UPD: sorry for bumping the thread, I didn't notice it was old.

Just know that the Acorn leather seats will absorb blue from your jeans as you enter and exit (along the left side of the driver’s seat). I ordered the darker brown Windsor seats when I placed my 110S order in late 2021, and discovered that was the one thing deleted when I picked it up in late 2022; all of the electronics were there.
So I have a streak of blue on the left side of the driver’s seat. Not the worst thing in the world.
Oh - I don’t mind the manual fore and aft (much faster adjustment than electric), and I don’t have any creaking or clicking when weight shifts (as someone reported above). Other than the blue stain, no issues at all.

So for the 12-way vs 14-way seats, the difference of the 2 movements are manual forward and back? Debating this as well, but on the S it's a $3800 upgrade, so quite a jump. I'm going Ebony so not sure if it's worth, but the electric fore/alt may persuade me hah.
On the SE, it is my understanding the 14-way has a power headrest (up and down) as opposed to manual on the 12-way.
Pretty sure that here are no power headrests on the Defender. My 14 way (110 X) has manual headrests. They also on the 14 way seats swap them for the nicer headrests though, that look like those on a RRS.
I think the additional 2 ways might be the side bolster support, on the 14 ways you can "squeeze" and "unsqueezed" the 2 side bolsters in and out, to adjust for body size and / or grip better in turns or offroad. Might be wrong about that but I test drove a Defender that had more basic seats and I remember this wasn't included.
