Default Has anyone added a Weboost antenna to the roof rails?

Hi—just got a new to me 2020 Defender—drives like I remember my 2007 Range Rover supercharged drove and way tighter than my wife’s 2019 Range Rover supercharged. Anyway…I don’t want a roof rack and feel I need a Weboost or similar antenna for going to remote places (yes—I go to remote places like a ranch that doesn’t get cell coverage!). Has anyone added a Weboost antenna to the side rails of the roof rack(not the cross bars)? Looking forward to your replies…

I added an NMO antenna mount to one of the rails. Are you asking about whether WeBoost works, or how to mount it?

How to mount it. I would imaging a plate goes in the rail and bolts down. I just don’t want to have manufacturer anything…I’m not so good at deviating from straight forward.

I know a few people who need to admit this to themselves.

Apparently, I’m within 10 miles of an authorized Weboost installer…I plan on having a pretty good discussion.

I used a modified tie down adaptor to attach to the rails, but it did require some deviant action:

They are surprisingly heavy duty.
