Seems like there are some who purchased before me in July that are still waiting and some that purchased after that have already received the key. That tells me that most likely Land Rover is probably not managing the key distribution and instead the dealers are the ones who are responsible for ordering and handing them out. I cant believe some people have been waiting a year already.

Wow, I had no idea folks weren't even getting two keys with their new Defenders. I had seen the reports of no sunglass holder. Didn't know they had removed USB ports either. I picked up my 2022 Defender 90 in August of 2021 so I beat all the "missing items." I have a sunglass holder, all the USB ports and I got two keys packaged in a nice presentation box with two different Land Rover Key chains (one leather and one metal) to go with them.

I had thought about selling my Defender, but now I'm like, "Nah, I'm good. I'll sit tight."

I still got the box, just a single key and two key chains, so one taunts me with no key on it.

I got a call about my 110X - the second key fob is in, but haven't had a chance to make the 2-hour drive to get it.

Picked my vehicle up in early November, got the call in January (week or so ago). Also, activity key still hasn't arrived.

Took delivery early October 22' ...this thread reminded me to check on my second fob. Emailed my SA and she responded that my VIN is part of the next "group" eligible for the 2nd key. So I'm scheduled to go there this week ...she said it takes about 2 hrs to program the 2nd key.

Your are fortunate indeed.

Prompted by this thread I also called my dealer today and was told that my VIN was in the "first phase" of limbo. When it moves into the "second phase" i will be notified about making an appointment for the programing. However, they had no idea when any of that would happen. I took delivery in June, 2022. Continuing to wait, wait....
