What tyre pressure would you recommend for a coil sprung 90?

l am running 32/38 psi F/R

Seems okay but happy to try different pressures.

Anyway, to your question, the LR4 I owned was on air springs, as would be the D90. My wife's GLS450 is also on air and has none of that head toss, fwiw. Yes, i get it, it's a "crossover". But its a big unibody SUV, as is the D90, so....
Yes, they're both unibody, but they were developed for completely different purposes. The GLS is a family luxury SUV, while the Defender was designed from the get-go to be a world-class 4x4 without sacrificing on-road comfort. I had an LR4 for ten years and I understand the head toss you're on about. I never experienced it on the LR4 except for one occasion on a road with lots of small elevation changes. The Defender's air suspension comes with Adaptive Dynamics, which are adaptive dampers that adjust themselves 500 times a second, thus keeping the suspension in check. It doesn't pitch, squat, dive or roll as much as the LR4 and its a lot more planted. You don't get any of the wallowiness that I *once* got in my LR4. But like others have said - definitely spend several days with one to decide if its right for you. If its not, perhaps a Range Rover Sport or Velar might be up your alley. Best of luck!

Don't discount the coil spring version. Newest isn't always best.
