Headlight washer jet leak

Headlight washer jet leak
Picked up a new defender a week ago and since then garage floor had blue colored liquid (washer fluid) last week and today when i went to a mechanic to fix something else he noticed the same and it was randomly leaking from one of the headlight washer jet. Its only from one headlight. Anyone had similar issue? Thinking of taking it to the dealer for a fix but not sure if someone accidently activated washer jet.

Will be intrigued to hear what others have to say about similar issues.
I find this happens when it's full, it could leak from the jets themselves; but equally the only other time i've noticed liquid spilling out is if I have the car parked on an angle that's over -15 degrees, the steep angle starts to tip a few liquids out.
If it's from the jets themselves you'll see it on the front of the headlight section, and see how full your liquid is, and note if you are parked on any other angles.
I believe the main times I encountered this were, after purchase, after service, and parked on steep angles.

i had the same issue and noticed after i got my 110 x home from the dealer. leaked from driver side headlight washer jet.
scheduled to have them look at it, but first available was a couple weeks out.
by then it had stopped. i agree… think it was due to an overfill of fluid.
hasnt been an issue since.

All your observations are in line with mine. It’s on driver side headlight and from the jet itself spilling like. Will call the service department for a check up as what I don’t know is if it’s full or inclined when car angle is at certain degree is that why just one washer jet. Last week it was an issue when I picked and since then it stopped but yesterday the car was rolled onto a lift to fix side steps and ruing this process there was a ~30 degree slope to get on the lift.

I had the same thing on my 300 23, picked up in September.
I would wake up, or come out of the office at the end of the day and there would be spill puddles on the ground of wiper fluid. (See below image).
Once I used the wiper fluid over and over, mine stopped leaking. That fixed mine in one day. Almost like it was clogged / backed up and once I used it, maybe it cleared the lines?
Hasn’t leaked since. Hope yours is as simple.

Same problem here. After a few days of ownership, maybe a dozen or so blue spots on the floor passenger side (USA). I also picked up a whiff of coolant smell a few mornings so took it to the dealer. They had it on the lift with the under trays out, pressure tested the system and verified no coolant leak, their comment on the washer fluid was that it was overfilled and to expect the odd smells with a new vehicle during first few weeks of ownership. Hmmm, I've had many new cars and not had that one, maybe it's a JLR thing. Anyway, it's been fine since.
I think if you experience this, I would run the washer fluid out a little, clean up the mess and see if it's still a problem before making that trek to the dealer. Perhaps these fluids are initially primed under pressure during assembly - just a thought.
