And the weather app sometimes disappears. And Spotify. And TuneIn. And the occasional screen freezes. And some options mysteriously turning off all by themselves (Wi-Fi, Hotspot, auto high beams.) And a laundry list of various other tiny annoyances... Resetting Pivi Pro usually gets everything up and running again for a couple of days or a couple of weeks, but obviously the infotainment system needs a lot of work to become stable - for all the millions of miles Land Rover claims this car was tested, the Pivi Pro engineers must have been on a long vacation during testing. There is a large incoming software update, 2.0.4, hopefully some of these bugs will be squashed.

I’ve had a HUD in my current driver for four years and I didn’t order it in my Defender build. As others have said, it goes invisible with polarized lenses, and I actually find I just don’t look at it even at night. It’s weird, but my eyes take a second to focus on the numbers, whereas it feels more natural to just glance down at the gauges. Really don’t think I’ll miss it—especially as an absurdly priced option.

Agree with last commenter -I had European signage as well and believe a reset would possibly fix it but based upon my experience, mine came back until I installed 2.0.4-which presented itself with a reset. Since 2.0.4 very solid and stayed in US. You might also check to see in settings if your option to tell vehicle you drive on the right side of road is default or not. Mine was left and kept flipping back to left even if I changed it -this was also cured with latest update. The side of road setting is under lights for helping the system with where to look for dipped beams.
